The Mountain Heavens is located in the picturesque small hill side town of Ella which is approximately 200km away from Colombo. The drive from Colombo takes about 5 1/2 - 6 hours while the Ella Railway station is about a 5 minute walk away from the hotel. The train journey takes about 8 hours from Colombo while the train ride is always breathtaking. Ella is found along the southern edge of the central highlands while the area is known for its scenic landscapes and mountain networks.
